The U.S. Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) established the HIRE Vets Medallion Program to recognize organizations that have invested in employing and retaining veterans. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) of 2017 directed the establishment of the program and is a powerful way that companies can signal their investment in veteran careers.
